We were proudly asked to create and design a replica of the great Kaieteur Water Falls from Guyana, South America.
This fountain took 4 months to design and started with getting the water to flow strong enough to achieve a rushing flow as the real water fall has. We kept in constant contact with our customer to make sure it was exactly as he wanted. We went from a 580 gallon per hour pump to a 1000 gallon per hour pump to get this just right.
The container is a custom made copper bowl that is 20" in diameter octagon and 6" deep. The complete fountain is 30" tall with a shelf and moss, trees and shrubbery.
There's an airport there that fly visitors in to see these falls so we also included a landing area on top and a small Cessna plane which is all surrounded by the rain forest and marsh in the middle.
We accented the bottom smaller mountains with greenery and artificial dirt. We added a 5 disk fogger to create the mist at the bottom of the water fall and a 72 LED color light that changes slowly. Our customer wanted to see a more white light so we switched out the color light for a 35W halogen white light as shown in the photo below. The video of this fountain is under this photo
